Source: https://github.com/github/awesome-copilot/tree/143a3d976b3c1603cc8932984d5e1f28501cb5fc/skills/github-actions-efficiency Repository: GitHub Awesome Copilot, a community-contributed collection in the GitHub organization. License: MIT; Copyright GitHub, Inc. The complete notice is in LICENSE.upstream.txt. All five upstream skill and reference files are preserved byte for byte. BB Skills assembled this package independently; it is not a GitHub certification or an official product release.
Requirements: existing workflow YAML, repository CI requirements and an agent that can read local files. GitHub CLI and your own authorized account are optional for live run evidence. No executable, GitHub credential or model client is bundled. Installing instructions does not authorize pushes, workflow dispatches, org settings or write-back jobs.
Use the upstream recommendations as proposals, not permission to delete required checks. Workflow-file edits can affect the whole pipeline and may require broad validation. Path-filtered workflows can leave required checks pending; confirm branch protection and repository coverage before narrowing events. Preserve documented release, migration, shared-library and compatibility checks. Current action versions and full commit pins need your own review; examples are retained from the pinned source rather than rewritten as current production defaults.
The optional BB Skills scenario validates selected synthetic workflow syntax with actionlint. It does not run jobs on GitHub, prove runtime savings, test cache behavior or cancellations, certify model decisions, or replace a full security review. Full agent execution is untested.
