Check your Skill.
Prepare your prompt.
Review the structure of an image SKILL.md, fill its prompt variables and copy or download the prepared text. Start with our original product-photography example or paste your own instructions.
Your Skill instructions
Checks and prompt preparation run in this browser. Your text and variable values are not uploaded by this tool, stored in your account or sent to a model. Reloading clears unsaved edits and values. JavaScript is required for the interactive controls.

Advisory checks for the GX AI Markdown layout. They do not run a model, validate YAML or prove image quality, licensing or tool compatibility. You can still save and export your draft.
Prepare a generation prompt
Fill the variables found in the Generation prompt section. This prepares text for your own generation tool. Values stay in this tab; they are not saved with SKILL.md or included in its ZIP. Reference values are text only and do not attach or upload an image.

From a variable to a usable prompt.
In the example, {{subject}} might become “a brushed steel travel mug”, {{background}} “a pale gray studio backdrop” and {{aspect_ratio}} “4:5”. The preview replaces those values in the Generation prompt section while leaving the reusable Skill unchanged.
Fill the values for this brief.
The form lists each recognized prompt variable once, with its description from Inputs when available. Matching names keep their values as you edit the Markdown. Clear values or Restore the example to start again. The inline form supports up to 24 variables and 2,000 characters per value.
Copy the prepared text.
Complete all recognized values and review any remaining double-brace tokens before copying or downloading. Values are inserted once as plain text; expressions, HTML and scripts are not evaluated. A prompt download contains only the prepared prompt, not a saved draft or the entire Skill.
Use your configured generation tool.
Paste the prompt into your chosen image tool and supply the permitted reference there. Entering a reference value here does not attach an image. Keep the Skill's workflow, exclusions and acceptance checks alongside the prompt when reviewing a candidate.
Review an actual image.
Check shape, material, lighting, crop and unwanted marks. The tool does not call an AI model or render media, and filled variables do not establish that a model will understand the prompt or produce the intended result.
What to check, and why.
A reusable image Skill needs more than a polished prompt. It should tell the next person which values to supply, what to do in their generation tool and how to judge a candidate. These checks look for that structure in the GX AI layout.
Keep the subject editable.
Use a token such as
{{subject}}inside the Generation prompt section. Replace it with the actual product or scene before generating. A fixed subject can be useful for one image, but needs editing for another brief.Describe every prompt variable.
If the prompt uses
{{background}}, explain that input under Inputs. The checker compares the two sections. Tokens use letters, numbers and underscores, begin with a letter and are case-sensitive. They are plain text, not executable template code.Make the workflow actionable.
Use numbered steps under Workflow to separate preparation, generation and review. This check finds at least two steps; it cannot decide whether those steps are useful or supported by your selected tool.
Review a real candidate.
Under Acceptance checks, define visible criteria such as silhouette, material, coherent shadows and delivery crop. A heading and text satisfy the structural check. You still need to inspect an actual generated image.
What a passing checklist does not establish
This tool does not parse YAML, test a model, confirm image rights, recover an original prompt or certify a Skill. Different headings and custom formats may need manual review. The checks are advisory and do not block private draft exports.
