Your direction.
A reusable image Skill.
Turn your own image brief into editable SKILL.md instructions. Describe the scene, keep variables reusable and define what to check in the result. This builder formats your writing; it does not analyze an image, call AI or render media.
Guide updated · Written and maintained by GX AI.
Continue a local writing project.
Keep your writing fields and the current Markdown together, including unfinished work and direct editor changes. A project contains your text, not images, brief values, review judgments, selected package files or an account draft.
Enable JavaScript to save or reopen a local builder project.
Which files do I need to continue? →Write a direction you can reuse.
The product-photography starting text is an authored example, not a tested model result. Change it for your task. Blank optional fields remain explicitly unspecified.
Enable JavaScript to build your Skill locally.
Replace the current Skill with this new builder output? Current prompt values and chosen package support files will be cleared. Keep your edited Skill if you want to download it first.
Review the reusable instructions.
Build first, then edit the Markdown directly. Filling prompt variables prepares one attempt; it does not change SKILL.md.
Enable JavaScript to copy or download the current editor text.
Keep a reusable copy of your edited Skill, including its placeholders and attribution. Prepared brief values stay separate. Which download should I use?
Package for your Skill client.
Check the required name and description, then download a matching folder with your current SKILL.md, a README and any support files you explicitly include. Dependencies are not discovered automatically. Packaging does not install, execute or certify a Skill.
Folder layout: Enable JavaScript to check
Include support files (optional)
Choose only the files your instructions need. A support-folder selection keeps its folder name, such as references/lighting-notes.md. Each batch needs confirmation before it enters the ZIP. Review contents and permissions before sharing; files are read locally and are never executed here.
Up to 24 files · 8 MiB each · 16 MiB total. SKILL.md and README.md at the root come from this editor. Images in the candidate reviewer and separate prompt values are never added automatically.
Include these files in the next ZIP? Check every path and file before confirming. Nothing is uploaded or installed.
No support files included. Choosing a new Skill or restoring a builder project clears this local file selection; writing projects do not store file bytes.
Follow the complete folder example →Enable JavaScript for a local advisory review of Markdown file links.
Review Markdown file links
Compare links and image paths in this SKILL.md with the confirmed file list. This reads Markdown only; linked files and remote URLs are never opened. Plain paths, raw HTML, metadata, scripts and dependencies inside other files need manual review. Up to 64 distinct local targets are shown. These advisory results never block a ZIP or certify completeness.
Enable JavaScript to check metadata and package locally. Your editor text stays in this tab.
Using a Skill client? Download Skill ZIP prepares the matching folder after basic metadata checks. You can also place a plain SKILL.md download in that folder yourself. Review the package contents and installation checks.
Enable JavaScript to check this text in your browser.
Advisory section checks for the GX AI Markdown layout. These checks do not inspect metadata, run a model or establish image quality, licensing or tool compatibility. Saving and Markdown export remain available.
Prepare a generation prompt
Fill the variables found in Generation prompt and Avoid. Values stay in this tab unless you download them; they are not saved with SKILL.md or included in its ZIP. Reference values are text only and do not attach or upload an image.
Your values
Your prepared text
Use the Avoid directions where your chosen tool supports them. This preview does not run a model or establish output quality.
Enable JavaScript to prepare the prompt in your browser.
Save or reopen brief values
Download brief-values.json to keep your entered text, including unfinished values. Reopen the exact same SKILL.md, then open this file and confirm before replacing its values. It contains no Skill text, images or review judgments. Nothing is uploaded or saved to your account.
Enable JavaScript to save or reopen local brief values.
Restoring values does not restore a review or bind a brief. A changed bound brief clears its binding and judgments through the usual review flow; images and general notes stay. How to continue one image brief →
From your words to a reviewable image attempt.
Write the process, not only a scene.
For a product campaign, keep
{{subject}},{{background}}and{{aspect_ratio}}editable. Specify broad side light and a complete outline as intended choices. If a reference shows a reflection, describe that observation separately; it does not reveal an exact lens or hidden prompt.Choose criteria that can fail.
“Beautiful and professional” leaves the next reviewer guessing. “The whole handle is visible” and “the contact shadow meets the plinth” give that reviewer something concrete to inspect. A crop failure calls for a framing revision; a floating product calls for reviewing contact and shadow. Neither a filled form nor a complete checklist proves a candidate passed.
Keep the reusable file and one brief.
Download SKILL.md for the reusable process. Expand Prepare a generation prompt, fill the variables and download the brief for one attempt. Values and edits stay in this tab unless you download them. Rebuilding never silently replaces edited Markdown or filled values; confirm replacement when prompted.
Generate elsewhere and inspect the result.
Use your configured image tool and attach a permitted reference there when needed. The builder does not attach images, execute workflows or provide model access. Open the downloaded SKILL.md in the free Skill checker, then compare the candidate and record manual judgments. Keep the actual generated file and brief alongside your notes.
When should I use reference analysis instead?
If you want AI to propose visual direction from an uploaded image, use Creative Studio's reference analysis; it requires sign-in and a configured vision service. This local builder is useful when you already know the direction or want to write it yourself. Neither method recovers an original creator's hidden prompt or grants rights to a reference.
Read the reference observations and uncertainty guide and compare the documented bottle generation attempt. That separate example is evidence about its recorded attempt, not proof that this builder or your new Skill has been model-tested.
A project keeps the writing. A brief keeps one attempt.
Suppose you have drafted the lighting direction but have not decided the acceptance checks. Download project saves those unfinished fields. If you have built a Skill and added an extra instruction directly in its Markdown, the project keeps that edit too. Reopening SKILL.md alone in the checker restores the reusable instructions; it does not reconstruct this form.
Download before leaving.
Use Download project for
image-skill-project.json. It contains all writing fields and the current editor text, which may be at different stages of editing. Empty fields are preserved. Nothing is saved to your account, sent to AI or kept automatically across reloads by this tool.Restore deliberately.
Open one exported JSON project, up to 512 KiB, then choose Restore project. The builder validates its format and field limits before offering the choice. It replaces the writing fields and Markdown and clears current brief values and package support files. Keep current work cancels. Editing local work while deciding cancels the pending restoration; a rejected file leaves your current work in place.
Keep the other files for their own purposes.
Download SKILL.md when you want reusable instructions for the Skill checker or another client. To continue the values for one attempt, also save brief-values.json from Prepare a generation prompt. Open it only after restoring its exact matching Skill text. It needs its own confirmation and does not bind a brief or restore a review automatically.
Check both stages before rebuilding.
A restored form and its Markdown can intentionally differ: one records your working notes, the other includes direct edits. Review them before rebuilding. A replacement choice protects edited Markdown and filled values. A project is an editing aid, not proof of who authored its content, whether permissions are sufficient or whether an image model has followed it.
